The City of De Soto had 3 seats open for the 2026-2030 term. <\/strong>The results were as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\"><strong>Mayor<\/strong>: Mitch Crozier. (Re-elected for a second term.)<br><strong>City Council<\/strong>: Amanda Eckstein &amp; Ivan Olson. (Formerly held by Josh Minton &amp; Wade Fox.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">De Soto residents can vote at the De Soto United Methodist Church &#8211; 421 Dallas Street from 7 am to 8 pm. Voting day is always the Tuesday that follows the first Monday of November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:700\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">If you are a resident interested in running for a seat on our council during any election, you must complete an application form and obtain a list of resident&#8217;s signatures before the deadline in mid-September. Next election for council seats will be held in November of 2028.
