Election day for De Soto will be held on November 3rd, 2026. This year, seats in the County Government Offices, State Offices, and Federal Offices will be voted on.
De Soto residents can vote at the De Soto United Methodist Church – 421 Dallas Street from 7 am to 8 pm. Voting day is always the Tuesday that follows the first Monday of November. The polling location for De Soto residents is in the De Soto United Methodist Church basement. Residents may park at the back of the church (east parking lot) and enter through the basement door at the back of the church. You must bring a valid ID that is not expired. This includes a drivers license, non-operator ID, US Passport, US Military ID, or a Voter ID.
If you are a resident interested in running for a seat on our council during any election, you must complete an application form and obtain a list of resident’s signatures before the deadline in mid-September.
