The election was held on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025. The City of De Soto had 3 seats open for the 2026-2030 term. The results were as follows:
Mayor: Mitch Crozier. (Re-elected for a second term.)
City Council: Amanda Eckstein & Ivan Olson. (Formerly held by Josh Minton & Wade Fox.)
De Soto residents can vote at the De Soto United Methodist Church – 421 Dallas Street from 7 am to 8 pm. Voting day is always the Tuesday that follows the first Monday of November.
If you are a resident interested in running for a seat on our council during any election, you must complete an application form and obtain a list of resident’s signatures before the deadline in mid-September.
