Library Board of Trustees

The Library Board of Trustees is responsible for reviewing all information related to the operations of the De Soto Public Library. This board’s responsibilities help deliver the best possible library services in order to meet the needs of our local community.

Duties include:

  • Establishing the mission and vision for the library
  • Determining the policies that are implemented to govern the library
  • Evaluating the director and the general management of the library
  • Overseeing the budget of the library

Important Information
Meetings are normally held on the 3rd Monday of every month starting at 6:00 PM at the
De Soto Library/City Hall Building.
