Soup & Cards is a monthly event often held on the first Wednesday of each month. Community members gather to have soup and play various card or board games together. It is a free event and a great way to meet neighbors. It is a well loved event by retired residents as well.

De Soto Fire Department: 329 Elm St. De Soto, IA

Monthly fire department meeting among De Soto’s fire volunteers. Usually held the first Tuesday of the month. They review the last month of calls and touch base on upcoming events and duties. Anyone is welcome to attend, especially those interested in joining their department or learning more about what they do.
